A Sumerian cuneiform inscribed fragmentary clay bulla
3rd Dynasty of Ur, circa 2000 B.C.
The text recording the receipt of the delivery of the carcasses of 8 oxen, also with remnants of text in relief from the rolled impression of a scribal seal, from 'the third year of the reign of Shu-Sin', 2035 B.C., from Umma, 2in. (5.1cm.), damaged, and two cuneiform inscribed clay tablets, one a Sumerian balanced account of sheep for one month, indicating that '533 sheep were present, 426 were disturbed and 87 were remaining', 3rd Dynasty of Ur, circa 2000 B.C., from Drehem, 3¼in. (8.2cm.), chipped, the other a Babylonian receipt from two named individuals of 5 shekels of silver, each given individually by five different people, with remnants of a rolled impression of a scribal seal, Old Babylonian, circa 1800-1600 B.C., 17/8in. (4.8cm.), all accompanied by translations (3)
