http://www.hixenbaugh.net/gallery/detail.cfm?itemnum=2458 2007.12.26 «An ancient Mesopotamian clay tablet inscribed with 13 lines of Sumerian cuneiform text and a geometric field plan, no doubt, describing a division of city land into fields. The text lists amounts of land followed by individual's names. The plan illustrates a rectangular area subdivided with captions indicating lengths of the sides. Third Dynasty of Ur, Ca. 2100-2000 BC. Height: 2 7/8 in. (7.5 cm). Intact and legible. A very rare and unusual, early real estate transaction”. Rough transliteration. “Formerly in the collection of Boris Blick (1922-2005), Professor Emeritus, University of Akron, Ohio, acquired 1970 to 1980. Inv#: 2458 $18,000 Guaranteed Authentic”.» [WEB] ------
