«A remarkable clay tablet with a total of 15 lines of Sumerian cuneiform on obverse and reverse, an administrative document which is dated and it translates: Month: festival of Ninazu, Year: the boat, the "ibex of the Apsu, of (the god) Enki was caulked, "that is the 5th month (our July/August) of the 2nd year of Shu-Sin, fourth king of the Third Dynasty of Ur. It concerns wages paid to two groups of workers digging fiels: the number of men specified in each case, also the amount they each dug per day, the daily wage, and the total of grain resulting, with grand total of grain paid out at the end.The official Ishar-beli was responsible for taking the grain from the officail graneries, and the scribe Baba passed it on to the men in question.
