«The tablets shown in the photos in this section, placed here between 2006 and 2009, are in private collections in various countries and are not offered for sale.
Most, apart from just a few which are in my own collection, were sent to me many years ago to take better photographs to aid reading of them. I placed these photos  here  to illustrate the types of tablet which were on the market at this time when the cuneiform reading service was launched. We very much encourage collectors to have their tablets read and to share them with academic resources. I thought that by showing how very interesting such tablets can be, this would encourage collectors to have their tablets read.»

«WESTERN ASIATIC FIRST DYNASTY OF ISIN CUNEIFORM TAG 1924-1896 BC A terracotta pillow-shaped tag with cuneiform text impressed over the rolled impressions of the scribe's cylinder seal to both broad faces and all four edges; accompanied by a copy catalogue entry and a typed and signed scholarly note issued by W.G. Lambert, Professor of Assyriology at the University of Birmingham, which states: "Clay tag 107 x 54 mm. with 36 lines of Sumerian Sumerian [sic] cuneiform on obverse and reverse, the whole surface of the tablet being covered with rollings of the scribe's cylinder seal to show the seal inscription, which reads "Mat-ili, sone of Baba". The tablet was sold in 2018 at a gallery in Barcelona and is now in an unknown private collection. This information was provided by Lluis Feliu (email 2018.07.24), who collated the tablet, made some photos and the handcopy.
